Other notable villages nearby include Horsington, Cucklington, Buckhorn Weston and Templecombe all of which have a variety of amenities including post office, public houses, primary schools and a train station. Stalbridge is also close by which has the popular family run Dike and Son supermarket.

The village is located close to the Somerset and Dorset border offering easy access to historic and tourist locations such as Sherborne, Bruton and Castle Cary. The A303 can be joined at Wincanton and provides access to London and the West Country.

From the A303: turn off at the Wincanton Junction and following the A357 towards Templecombe.  Turn left into the village opposite the White Horse Pub.  Honeysuckle Cottage can be found halfway down the main village road (Cheriton Street) on the right hand side.

From Templecombe follow the A357 to South Cheriton in a northerly direction. Turn right at the White Horse Pub into Cheriton Street and the cottage will be found after approx 200 yards on your right hand side.
